Gene Wright is an associate professor in MSOE’s Rader School of Business and director of the university’s Innovent Center. The Innovent Center provides MSOE students, alumni, faculty and staff with entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial inspiration, education and mentoring. Wright teaches graduate courses in new product development, innovation management, business strategy and entrepreneurship.
He is the principal of Wright Innovation Inc., a professional services firm that works with business executives and small business owners. Wright holds three U.S. patents and has decades of experience founding small businesses, manufacturers and IT services providers, research and development, and as an application engineer and system engineer.
